The Illusion of Elvis-Danny Vernon and the Devilles… From the many years of admiration of Elvis, I've sought to create a show that would hold the excitement of the King of Rock & Roll- on stage throughout the various stages of his career. I also try to show respect & support the integrity of the man and his music.
Wally & The Beaves is a fun Oldies variety band from the Pacific Northwest Performing classic americana songs from the 1950’s-1980’s. Each member of the band brings a bit of humor by dressing like well-known iconic characters from the era. Guaranteed to get you dancing all night.
Hard driving, traditional bluegrass with roots reaching back to the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Ernest Queen, our founder, was born and raised in and around Cowarts, North Carolina. As a young man, Ernest moved to Sedro Woolley, WA bringing with him the music he heard and played throughout his youth. For thirty years, Ernie and his band entertained audiences throughout Washington and British Columbia. Ernie passed away in 2015 and left us in charge of playing the music that he so loved. Queen's Bluegrass is now based in Lynden, WA and plays throughout Northwest Washington.
The music performed is music that is traditionally danced to. You will hear Waltzes and Polkas, and also Ländlers, Schottisches, and Foxtrots as well as the occasional Mazurka and Marsch. However, modern Swiss music has its roots in the traditional yodeling that Swiss farmers and shepherds used for centuries to call in their cow herds and sheep flocks, and jodeling was also used in Switzerland as a vital form of communication from mountain to mountain and also between villages separated by deep Alpine valleys and rugged terrain. Alphorns (long, wooden horns several feet long) were also used by Swiss farmers and shepherds for intercommunication and to call in the animals as well. Kapelle Blaser-Faver continues these ancient Swiss traditions of jodeling and alphorn playing.
